Known issues

Language issues

The add-in supports all languages that S-Filer supports, however, Outlook has some limitations that cause discrepancies in the language of the add-in.

Notification messages

Notification messages appear at the top of the message compose pane in Outlook. The language of the notification and the button to open S-Filer follow the language configured for the S-Filer Outlook Add-In. An example of this is shown below:

  1. The dismiss button is always shown in the language of the Outlook application. This button is not controlled by the Add-In.
  2. The language of the notification does not change dynamically if the language is changed in the Add-In settings. Outlook does not support dynamic language changes for notifications.

Send warning

When sending a message with unsecured attachments, the add-in will show a warning to the user. The warning is shown in the language of the S-Filer Outlook Add-In. An example of this is shown below:

  1. The "Send Anyway" button is always shown in the language of the Outlook application. This button is not controlled by the Add-In.
